Project Manager
SAFE SPA, a world leader in the design and production of custom systems for the compression of CNG, RNG and hydrogen for commercial and industrial applications. For over 50 years it has collaborated in the success of its customers by developing innovative technologies in the Energy Transition field.
The resource will be responsible for planning and supervising the progress of company orders in the various stages of implementation in order to ensure the achievement of company objectives through the completion of the order and delivery in compliance with the expected times, costs and quality.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Project Manager collaborates transversally with all company functions and is responsible for the correct planning, execution, monitoring and control of the assigned orders.
- Collaborates with the PM Manager in overseeing the estimate of each area’s effort (in terms of materials, resources needed, and duration of each activity) required to complete each required activity.
- Analyse les risques potentiels pour le projet, prépare les actions de réponse à chaque risque et intervient de manière préventive.
- In case of detection of anomalous trends in the project and/or misalignment between commercial requests and Operation capabilities, analyze the situation with the actors involved and introduce the necessary corrective measures.
- He is responsible for managing the relationship with Customers in terms of relationships and projects for specific orders, with the exception of the negotiation aspect which is the responsibility of sales.
- Analysis and supervision of project progress and closing costs.
- Analysis and supervision of the costs of progress and closing of the order. It works to promote teamwork aimed at implementing the exchange of knowledge and pursuing continuous improvement objectives.
- Collaborates effectively and proactively with colleagues to spread a customer-oriented corporate culture and to promote and implement cooperation between the various internal entities in a team perspective.
Education & Experience
- Degree in Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent culture.
- Previous experience of at least 2-3 years in the role at industrial companies organized by order is required.
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a team in a proactive manner, involving resources from all areas of the company to achieve a common goal.
- Determination, planning skills and strong problem solving orientation.
- High sense of responsibility, proactivity.
Language – Computer skills
- Excellent knowledge of the English language.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
- SAP or other ERP system.
Job location – Mobility
- San Giovanni in Persiceto (Bo) – Italy.
- Availability to travel (not frequently)
- Possibility of smart working 6 days per month

Thesis Projects
SAFE SPA, a leading company in the design of CNG, RNG and hydrogen compression plants, has been operating in the energy transition sector for over 40 years. It is looking for graduates in mechanical engineering, management and software engineering for several thesis projects. The topics include the development of calculation models for compressors, design of test benches, digitalization of industrial databases with NLP and AI techniques.
Other projects include predictive maintenance, inventory management and spare parts demand analysis. Industrialization studies, integrated planning and make or buy strategies are also planned. Candidates will be placed in technical teams with practical and analytical tasks.
