This project was commissioned with the goal of developing the first hydrogen refueling station for about 50 buses, eliminating CO2 and general greenhouse gas emissions from public transportation in the surrounding area.

High supply capacity

Designed to power a fleet of about 50 hydrogen buses, ensuring efficient and continuous refueling.

High-pressure compressors

The system is capable of compressing hydrogen up to 450 bar, ensuring high performance and reliability over time.

Green

Contributes to the reduction of emissions in public transport by promoting zero-emission mobility.

Project Requirements

Maximum suction pressure 450 bar
Maximum discharge pressure 450 bar
Maximum flow rate (@450 bar) 1000 Ncm/h equal to about 90 kg/h

We provided a compression solution characterized by:

A flexible and efficient compression unit capable of compressing and distributing hydrogen.

The Hydro Mechanical TDH85 twin, coupled with two electric motors of 18.5 kW each, is the top of its class in terms of efficiency and flexibility: thewide pressure range (4 to 450 bar) in which it operates, the low number of cycles, and the low energy consumption result in a low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) over the entire product life cycle.

A “green” solution: the atmospheric pressure Distance Piece and the two sets of seals on the gas and oil side ensure that the treated gas is pure, without any contamination.
