Gas recovery ensures a healthy environment because natural gas is a greenhouse gas and if released into the atmosphere, it contributes to the enlargement of the ozone hole. It is responsible for about 10 percent of the greenhouse effect and is able to retain heat 30 times more than CO2.
High supply capacity
Designed to support bus fleets, ensuring rapid and continuous refueling.
Integrated and compact
All components, including compressors and control systems, are housed in a single package, optimizing space and functionality.
Energy Efficiency
Use of high-efficiency compressors that operate over a wide range of pressures, reducing energy consumption and operating costs.
Project Requirements
Zero emissions: No gas leaks are released into the atmosphere. Any gas leaks that may occur during compression, from dispensers or refueling points are recovered and recycled on the suction side of the compressor. This is made possible by a closed circuit consisting of a tank that recovers gas (otherwise vented to the atmosphere) which is recycled and then compressed by two other small compressors from other OEMs capable of operating at low suction pressure – 2 to 15 barG.
Extremely flexible with high availability: The proposed solution allows tremendous operational flexibility depending on refueling demand. It can switch from slow fill, to refuel all buses at the same time overnight, to fast fill to quickly refuel buses at any time thanks to three levels of storage pressure. in addition, when storage is not filled, a direct line is available for fast refueling.
Maximum guaranteed capacity: The facility consists of 2 main stations and 1 backup station, with 8 SW SAFE series compressors, 6 fast fill dispensers and 320 slow fill points, capable of refueling up to 300 buses each night.
