Building on the experience gained in gas compression, in 2009 SAFE launched its new biogas division providing highly customised turnkey solutions for biomethane generation systems both on a small scale (50-300 Sm3/hour) and plants for grid injection (150-5,000 Sm3/hour). These solutions are designed and implemented to meet the needs of different markets such as automotive, domestic use, industrial use and biomethane grid distribution.

SAFE SOLUTIONS FOR BIOMETHANE

SAFE is also able to implement turnkey solutions through a tailor-made enclosure that houses the entire solution: from output of biomethane from the upgrading system to high-pressure compression for vehicle refuelling or for re-injection into the grid or industrial use. In addition to high-pressure compression, we also provide biomethane storage, dispensers, odoriser, gas analyser and pressure reduction systems for a complete and efficient service.

ENERGY FROM A BIOLOGICAL PROCESS THAT IS GOOD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

SAFE has decided to invest in the biomethane market: from re-injection into the grid to use for vehicles and as a source of heat in industrial activities. An important project to support and enhance the potential for development and use of renewable energy generated by exploiting the natural decomposition of organic material, from waste to agricultural biomass.

Since 2010, the growth of biomethane production has stimulated the global biogas market, creating the basis for a sustainable and circular economy: the biogas chain has become the driver for the development and production of clean energy sources.
