On the system, there are one or more electrical panels for power supply and control of the compressor and of all auxiliary equipment and systems. The electrical panels are normally housed in a dedicated room, also present in the prefabricated steel or reinforced concrete modules. The power and control panel – for safe area and installed inside a dedicated room – manages the power control and the operational control functions of the compressor unit and of the auxiliary devices. Functions of the power and control panel:

• Automatic start-up upon reaching the minimum discharge pressure
• Automatic stop upon reaching the maximum discharge pressure
• Restart after emergency stops
• On-screen display of all events and alarms, plants operating parameters and operating hours.
